1. What we collect

When you use ScopeCheck, we collect:

• Your email address and name (for account authentication)
• Roofing estimate PDFs and job-site photos you upload
• Analysis results generated from your uploads
• Basic usage data (pages visited, features used)

2. How we use your data

Your data is used to:

• Provide and improve the ScopeCheck analysis service
• Authenticate your account and protect your results
• Improve our AI analysis accuracy using anonymized, aggregated patterns — your raw files and estimates are never shared or used in identifiable form

3. Data isolation

Each user account is completely isolated. Your reports and uploaded files are only accessible to you. No other user can access your analyses.

4. File retention

Uploaded PDF and photo files are processed in memory and discarded after analysis. We do not permanently store your raw estimate files or site photos.

5. Third parties

We use OpenAI's API to power analysis. Your estimate content is sent to OpenAI for processing under their API terms. We do not sell your data to any third party.
